Tamah's vision of co-operative, accessible resources and family support services in this community facilitated the establishment of the Colborne Street Clinic in 2008.

Tamah is a skilled psychotherapist with a passion for working with adolescents. She has extensive training and experience working with young people in various contexts including education, psychotherapy and counselling. Tamah's private counselling practice includes adolescents, families and individuals. Consistent with the idea that healing takes place within the context of community, Tamah has developed a unique support/mentoring program that assists clients beyond the therapeutic process.

Psychotherapist / Marriage and Family Therapist



Rebecca is a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist and has been counselling for over 24 years.  Her practice includes working with individuals over the age of 18 as well as couples.  She specializes in the treatment of post trauma, anxiety, depression and couples counselling.  Her modalities of practice include Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, Hypnosis and Neurofeedback.  Rebecca offers a respectful environment where people can feel safe to heal, learn new skills and tools and find joy, peace and balance in their lives again.

Randy is a mental health professional trained in psychotherapy and family systems, and the assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and families. His practice includes, individual, marriage and family counselling. Randy draws from many different therapeutic methodologies, using client-centered and individualized approaches to therapy. His active listening skills and non-judgmental attitude allows for a safe and caring environment that puts clients at ease. Randy’s extensive training, professional, and life experiences equip him to assist individuals, couples and families in addressing the tough issues.

Special Education Resource Teacher / Irlen Screener

Valerie is a Special Education Resource Teacher with over 15 years’ experience working with students who have learning disabilities and differences. Some students with learning disabilities experience perceptual difficulties identified as Irlen’s syndrome that can affect reading achievement, learning and performance. Valerie is a certified Irlen screener and is qualified to make recommendations and accommodation in the school environment.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) /
Marriage and Family Therapist/Play Therapist



Shauna is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with an M Div. Clinical Counselling. She is trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and has further training in Play Therapy and Child Psychotherapy. Shauna is currently pursuing further training in Play Therapy, Theraplay, and working towards the Registered Marriage and Family Therapist designation. She is also a Certified Provider of Autplay Therapy, a play therapy approach for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Certified Play Therapist


Lindsay is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and a Certified Play Therapist.  She is passionate about supporting individuals through times of stress, challenge, transition and trauma.  She works from a person-centred perspective to create a strong therapeutic alliance in order to facilitate growth and the learning of adaptive coping tools and resources.

Her Modalities include: EMDR, Theraplay, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Play-Therapy Techniques.
